Set to make her Haute Couture debut in Paris with a live showcase, the designer is putting Indian textiles on to the global map.
Designer Vaishali Shadangule is staging her Couture Week debut in Paris on July 8, alongside heavyweights like Dior, Balenciaga and Jean Paul Gaultier. As Couture Week restarts live presentations after two seasons of a digital-only format, Shadangule is part of the eight designers showcasing her eponymous label, Vaishali S, on the physical runway. She is only the second Indian designer next to Rahul Mishra to achieve this feat.
